Job Opportunity: Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

They are currently looking to expand their team and have opportunities for skilled Vehicle Technicians and those with MOT testing capabilities.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Vehicle Technicians and qualified Vehicle Technicians with MOT testing capabilities to join our client's busy workshop in Hatfield. These are excellent opportunities for motivated individuals to utilise their technical expertise and contribute to a successful team.
Key Responsibilities (depending on the role):
Performing routine vehicle maintenance and servicing according to manufacturer guidelines.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults on a variety of vehicles.
Carrying out inspections and identifying necessary repairs.
Completing job cards and service reports accurately and efficiently.
Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with safety regulations.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest vehicle technologies and repair techniques.
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
Collaborating effectively with other team members.
For MOT Testers: Conducting MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations.
For MOT Testers: Completing all relevant MOT paperwork accurately and efficiently.
For MOT Testers: Ensuring compliance with all MOT testing standards and procedures.
For MOT Testers: Maintaining a clean and organised MOT bay and workshop area.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair).
For MOT Tester roles: Qualified MOT Tester (preferably Class 4).
For MOT Tester roles: Thorough understanding of DVSA regulations and MOT testing procedures.
Full UK driving license.
Own set of tools is advantageous.
