We require a full time commercial bodybuilder/fabricator/ coachbuilder to work on all types of commercial vehicle bodies including dropsides, curtain side, luton and box bodies.
This is a hands on job that requires skill and experience with hand tools, power tools, mig welding and mechanical vehicle knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and understand specifications
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications
- Assemble and install structures and components
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, and screwdrivers
- Operate power tools such as drills, saws, and sanders
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and according to safety guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion within deadlines
Experience:
- Previous experience in vehicle body building
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of building techniques
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labour as required
