Role Overview:

As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver dynamic and thought-provoking lessons that encourage students to think critically about physical and human geography. You will play a key role in supporting academic achievement, promoting curiosity, and fostering a lifelong love for the subject.

Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher:

  • Teach Geography across Key Stages.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and curriculum-aligned lessons.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives.

Requirements for the Geography Teacher role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A degree in Geography or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Geography in a UK school setting.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality education and promoting student development.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
