GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a welcoming school in the Hathersage area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to deliver engaging geography lessons and help students explore and understand the world around them.

Role Overview:

As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver dynamic and thought-provoking lessons that encourage students to think critically about physical and human geography. You will play a key role in supporting academic achievement, promoting curiosity, and fostering a lifelong love for the subject.

Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher:

Teach Geography across Key Stages.
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and curriculum-aligned lessons.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
Create a positive and safe classroom environment that supports learning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives.
Inspire students to become informed, responsible global citizens.

Requirements for the Geography Teacher role:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A degree in Geography or a related field.
Experience teaching Geography in a UK school setting.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
A passion for delivering high-quality education and promoting student development.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
