About the role:

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll be the technical force behind our solutions, creating electrical designs that meet the highest standards in critical power applications. You'll work closely with project teams to ensure systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time - making a direct impact on the performance of essential infrastructure across the UK.

What you'll be doing:

- Designing full electrical systems - from control panels to generator controllers and UPS systems

- Creating CAD drawings and schematics to CDM and BS7671 standards

- Supporting both LV and HV applications, including site commissioning and FAT/SAT

- Helping manage projects from start to finish - timelines, budgets, and all the bits in between

- Collaborating across departments to deliver seamless, end-to-end project execution

- Bringing your creativity and problem-solving skills to every technical challenge

You:

- ONC/HNC (or higher) in Electrical Engineering

- Strong experience in electrical system design - ideally including switchgear and control panels

- Confident CAD user with excellent IT skills

- Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards

- A can-do attitude, proactive mindset, and a genuine passion for quality and detail

- PLC programming knowledge and project estimating experience is advantageous
