Environmental Health & Safety Administrator

Hours per week: 37.5hrs
Working Schedule:4xFlex - Monday - Wednesday: 7.30am - 5.30pm & Thursday: 7.30am - 5.00pm with every Friday off.
Role Overview:
The ESH Administrator plays a key role in supporting the Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) function by maintaining data repositories, coordinating training and meetings, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. This role is essential to the smooth operation of ESH systems and contributes to the company's commitment to safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Reporting
* Maintain and update records related to:
o Workstation ergonomics assessments
o Telecommuting arrangements
o Manual handling activities
o Driving on business
o Equipment use register
o First aiders and fire wardens
o PPE distribution and usage
o Chemical and task risk assessments
o Net Zero / Go Green initiatives
o Incident Management System
Documentation & Filing
* Organise and maintain documentation in line with the ESH Management System requirements.
Training Coordination
* Manage all ESH-related training activities.
* Book training sessions and maintain the training matrix.
Meeting Facilitation
* Schedule and facilitate ESH-related meetings.
* Prepare agendas and record/distribute meeting minutes.
Risk Assessment Updates
* Implement amendments to approved risk assessments as directed.
Audit & Certification Support
* Assist in preparations for ISO certification and internal audits.
Administrative Support
* Provide general administrative assistance to the ESH Advisor and Managers.
Overall Duties and Tasks:
* Assist in the production of metrics and material for Executive level presentations
* Support other personnel in the team / department when they are out of office
* Provide continuous improvement of performance and execution of all tasks and activities
* Develop, update and implement working processes
* Carry out any reasonable activities as requested in support of departments organisational objectives
* Have strong communications skills and good organisations and administrative skills.
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
* Strong organizational and administrative skills
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data management
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Experience with ESH systems or similar compliance frameworks
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
