Description
The key responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer role are:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on production equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and updates to equipment.
- Work closely with the team to ensure operational efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests during the day shift.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
- Relevant qualifications in a related field.
- Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team in Havant
MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF:
- What an injection moulding machine is and does.
- Have an understanding of what Chillers, Compressors, Material Systems are.
- HVAC System Pressure.
