As part of a multi-skilled team, working a 3 shift rota, the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate an excellent team working attitude, communicate with people at all levels, have a hands-on approach to problem solving, lead by example, train new starters and work under their own initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site reactive maintenance and general building repairs.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to production during maintenance work.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met.
  • Conduct risk assessments and participate in accident investigations.
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

Skills & Requirements:

Industry-recognised trade qualifications desirable.

Electrical/Mechanical qualification or experience desirable.

Previous relevant experience

Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks under pressure.

Knowledge of food industry regulations and compliance.

Flexibility with shift changes when required.

Salary:

Negotiable dependent on experience (+10% shift allowance)

Shift Pattern:

3-shift Rotation (currently, 04:00-13:00 / 08:00-17:00 / 13:00-22:00 but subject to change)
