We’re looking for passionate, energetic, and reliable contractors to help lead and deliver unforgettable student trips across the globe. As a Flooglebinder Project Contractor, you’ll facilitate immersive travel experiences that focus on conservation, community, culture, and personal growth. You’ll guide young people through transformative journeys, whether trekking through jungles, supporting conservation projects, or diving into the ocean to explore marine life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support groups of students aged 11–21 on educational and conservation-based trips
  • Deliver elements of trip content including workshops, discussions, and reflection sessions
  • Work collaboratively with local partners and project teams
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all participants
  • Represent Flooglebinder’s values and ethos at all times

General Requirements

  • Experience working with young people or in group leadership roles
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Confident working in remote or outdoor environments
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Availability for trips ranging from 1 to 4 weeks
  • Enhanced DBS (Flooglebinder can support this process if needed)

Ideal Certifications

  • Outdoor First Aid (16-hour minimum) or similar
  • Other relevant certifications (e.g., Mental Health First Aid, safeguarding, expedition leadership) are a bonus
