We’re currently looking for an experienced Principal Planning Officer to join a dynamic planning team on a flexible, part-time basis.

About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled planning professional to manage a varied caseload of major planning applications and pre-application enquiries, including:

  • Screening and scoping opinions for EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) development
  • Residential, commercial, industrial, and energy-related schemes
  • Providing expert advice on complex planning matters
  • Supporting the council’s delivery of sustainable, well-planned development

  • An experienced planning officer, ideally with a background in major applications and EIA development
