Description
- Drive continuous improvement within the logistics department.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with the established procedures.
- Provide training and support to the team on CI methodologies and tools.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall operational efficiency.
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Participate in strategic planning and project management activities.
Profile
A successful CI Practitioner should have:
- A degree or experience in a relevant field such as Business Administration or Engineering.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Transport & Distribution sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
- Six Sigma/ Lean accreditation is an advantage
- Prince2 training/ accreditation is preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using MS Office suite and relevant software applications.
