Laundry Team Leader – Night ShiftDarty/HaverhillFull Time – Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6amSalary - £31,728.94Full Time PositionAre you looking for a stable job in a growing company?Do you enjoy being part of a successful team? If so, we are looking for someone to join our Dartry/Haverhill depot as a Laundry Team LeaderAs a Team Leader, you will be responsible for assisting the Supervisor/Depot Manager with the day-to-day running of the laundry, ensuring that all products are washed to a high standard, and in accordance with PHS Company Procedures. You will lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to health and safety regulations and procedures.In return for your expertise. You will get:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all laundry plant and equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and Besafe safe systems of work
  • Conduct daily and weekly checks, recording results using the appropriate forms
  • Record and report any breakdowns, calling out engineers as necessary
  • Monitor and maintain quality control throughout the wash, dry, and pack processes
  • Ensure all laundry staff are fully competent to carry out their tasks and adhere to company procedures
  • Liaise with colleagues and management to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act. Familiarity with manufacturer's instructions for laundry machinery. (This is not a mandatory requirement as full training will be provided)
  • Excellent computer literacy skills
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Experience in a similar role or industry would be an advantage
