Description

  • Drive continuous improvement within the logistics department.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with the established procedures.
  • Provide training and support to the team on CI methodologies and tools.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Participate in strategic planning and project management activities.

Profile

A successful CI Practitioner should have:

  • A degree or experience in a relevant field such as Business Administration or Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Transport & Distribution sector.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Six Sigma/ Lean accreditation is an advantage
  • Prince2 training/ accreditation is preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office suite and relevant software applications.
