Position: Shift Manager

Location: Haverhill, Suffolk

Salary: 40-45K, commensurate with experience

Shift Pattern: Afternoons

Nicholas Associates have an excellent opportunity for a Shift Manager, to join a market leading client in Haverhill.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating the operational management of the department and optimising profitability in conjunction with short and long-term business strategies, goals and objectives.

You will lead and direct all High-Risk functions to fulfil all existing and potential customer requirements and expectations in terms of delivery, efficiency, food safety and quality.

You will have:

  • A fundamental understanding and knowledge of all line equipment and throughput requirements.
  • The ability to identify and pre-empt potential operating problems.
  • Numerate, articulate and an effective communicator.
  • Natural self-starter, able to engage and motivate others.
  • Ability to problem solve, identify potential issues and proactively act accordingly, taking appropriate actions in a timely manner.
  • Holistic view of line, area and wider business general day-to-day requirements.
  • Personal ownership of line achievement.
  • Willing to learn from experiences, to work in a productive and professional way with other departments and staff.
