Role Overview:As a MIG Welder, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication of high-quality steel structures and components for a wide range of bespoke projects across the UK and Europe. This position is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and highly skilled workshop team, develop your fabrication skills, and contribute to nationally recognised projects.
Role Responsibilities:-
Perform MIG welding on mild steel components (3mm-25mm thickness)

Work from technical drawings to fabricate and assemble structures

Maintain high quality and safety standards throughout production

Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and site teams to meet deadlines

Required Skills:-
Proficient in MIG welding (mild steel)

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Experience in steel fabrication or bespoke structural builds

LOLA or equivalent crane operation certification

Familiarity with workshop health & safety practices

Minimum 1 year MIG welding experience on mild steel

Background in fabrication, construction, or industrial manufacturing

£14.50/hour (flexible depending on experience)

Weekly hours: 38 hours
