Are you a high-performing and inspirational Teacher of Core Subjects ready to take your impact to the next level? Our trust of secondary schools in Havering is recruiting a small group of exceptional Teacher of Core Subjects professionals to join our central Academy Effectiveness Team.

This unique opportunity will see you working closely with our Director of Academy Improvement and teaching at one of our three Havering-based academies for fixed periods. Your role? To Teach; Model; Coach - and to lead by example.



About the Role:

As a Teacher of Core Subjects, you will:

  • Deliver outstanding teaching in English, Maths, or Science across KS3 and KS4.

  • Be based at one of our three secondary academies in Havering, with the flexibility to move across schools when needed.

  • Support curriculum planning, resource development, and subject-specific CPD.

  • Coach and mentor Early Career Teachers and trainees.

  • Share best practices to drive forward teaching standards in your subject.

You won't be expected to line manage colleagues, but your influence will be significant as a role model and subject leader in your field. You will receive additional non-contact time and professional development opportunities to support your success in the role.

  • Have at least 3 years of teaching experience.

  • Have a proven track record of delivering strong academic outcomes.

  • Are flexible, resilient, and passionate about educational improvement.
