Rate: £44.50 per hour

An exciting opportunity to join the Children with Disabilities Team in Havering as a Team Manager. This rewarding role allows you to lead a dedicated team delivering vital support to children and families, all within a borough celebrated for its strong community spirit and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities:-
Provide leadership and oversight for the Children with Disabilities Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work practice.

Support and supervise staff through case management, reflective practice, and professional development sessions.

Liaise with multi-agency professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

Organise and manage team meetings, development days, and performance reviews.

Maintain clear, compassionate communication with families, ensuring transparency and collaborative decision-making.

Uphold and monitor safeguarding standards for children and young people with complex needs.

Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration (e.g., SWE).

Proven experience in managing or supervising within children’s services.

Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and legislation affecting children with disabilities.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
