This stunning country hotel based in the North Yorkshire dale are recruiting a Sous Chef to join the team of talented chefs to assist the talented head chef in running the kitchen in this high quality hotel

With a fine dining restaurant, room service, events & weddings, there really is a lot going on at this stunning hotel and this really is a fantastic position to really get some high quality on your CV.

The ideal Sous Chef candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • A keen eye for detail, and a passion for your craft
  • Experience working with a modern British menu
  • Experience working in a fast-paced fresh food led kitchen
  • Experience working within a similar independent casual dining venue
  • Experience running service to high standards, and being always in tune with your team
  • Spot on knowledge of stock control, costings and menu planning
  • Understanding of the latest allergen, H&S & haccp procedures and regulations
  • A keen eye for detail, and a passion for your craft
  • The desire to learn from a very well respected head chef
