Create and manage the weekly production schedule
Main Purpose and Scope of Job
- Monitor productionprogress and revise schedules to accommodate changes in demand, supply delays or equipment downtime.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of ingredients
- Work closely with the Production Managers to optimise and improve weekly schedule to support customer requirements
- Liaise daily with internal departments
- Ensure high customer service levels are maintained
- Ensure stock list is up to date
- Conduct continuous improvement
Skills Required
- Previous experience of production planning
- Good understanding of food manufacturing process
- Familiarity with capacity planning and scheduling
- Accuracy, attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Good excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP desirable but essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to priority tasks
- Ability to manage deadlines
