We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Lecturer to deliver engaging and comprehensive culinary education to full-time learners. This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for culinary arts and education, aiming to inspire and support students pursuing NVQ qualifications from Level 1 to Level 3.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan and deliver comprehensive culinary lessons that cover NVQ qualifications from Level 1 to Level 3.
- Assess student progress through practical and theoretical evaluations.
- Provide detailed and constructive feedback to students to aid in their culinary development.
- Manage orders and preparations for practical sessions, ensuring all materials and ingredients are available for a hands-on learning experience.
- Maintain a dynamic classroom environment that encourages learning and student engagement.
- Support students in achieving their educational and career goals in the culinary arts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience in a culinary setting.
- Level 3 NVQ qualification in professional cookery.
- Assessor qualification is essential.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to maintaining high educational standards and continuous improvement.
