We are seeking an experienced Bush Fit Honer to join our clients landing gear MRO facility. You will be responsible for installing bushes, checking dimensional tolerances, fitting and swaging bearings, and honing bushes to final size. This role requires good attention to detail, accurate measuring skills, and the ability to follow engineering instructions.

Key Responsibilities
Check components and bush logs for accuracy.
Install bushes and bearings using workshop manuals and drawings.
Measure components using calibrated imperial tools.
Swage bushings using appropriate methods (pressure, roller, stake, material displacement).
Wire-lock bolts and bushes.
Use cryogenic equipment and ovens when required.
Hone bushes to final size.
Perform hardness testing using approved machines.
Follow company procedures and tasks delegated by the Area Supervisor.

Experience & Skills
Ability to read drawings and follow technical instructions.
Strong imperial measuring skills (micrometers, callipers, gauges).
Experience honing
Experience in fitting, swaging, or precision engineering environments is an advantage.
Aerospace experience preferred but not essential.

Education
Engineering apprenticeship or engineering qualification (desirable).

Must have the full right to live and work in the UK.

Shift: Double days (Monday to Friday)
Week 1 6am - 2pm
Week 2: 2pm - 10pm

Pay:
From 29,900 + Shift allowance (3,920)
