Our well known client based in Hayes is looking for a Exports Operations Specialist with AOG Nights 7pm -7am £31K-£33K base + shift pay (approx £4Kpa)  As an Aerospace Export Operations Specialist, you’ll use your talents to create innovative solutions and shape the future across our business. Join a dynamic team that undertakes a range of activities tosupport the overall Life Science Sector for the London Station.Key Activities:•Export of Aerospace related shipments including AOGs, Engines & licenced goods•Booking best Air Freight options for our customers to ensure prompt delivery to worldwide destinations•Working closely with Transport departments to enable timely and cost effective collection•Adhere to Customs Compliance procedures and documentation.•Manage and Build Customer Relationships.•Complete retrospective Customs compliance actions•Customs entry for Specialist License movements.•Ensure the Job File is fully and accurately completed reflecting all commercially relevant information and services provided.•Liaise directly with Carriers and Handling Agents to resolve exceptions and discrepancies as they arise.•Liaise directly with other departments on shipment planning and coordination.•Liaise directly with other Transport & Warehouse teams on shipment planning and coordination.•Liaise directly with overseas offices on shipment planning and coordination.•Maintain and update all compliance.•Maintain mandatory milestones and remarks through Cargowise (internal system).As an Aerospace Export Operations Specialist, you’ll use your talents to create innovative solutions and shape the future across our business. Join a dynamic team that undertakes a range of activities tosupport the overall Life Science Sector for the London Station.  Skills and Experience:•2+ years experience within the Freight Forwarding Industry.•5 GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade C or above – or equivalent desirable.•Experience of HMRC procedures for Export•Commercial awareness.•Clear and concise communication skills (written and spoken).•Ability to follow processes.•Ability to support a culture of continuous improvement.•Inter-personal skills - Influencing, communication, relationship management, cultural awareness and ability to work across teams.•Knowledge of Freight Forwarding industry: Exports, exports and related processes.•Knowledge of Aerospace/AOG movements preferred but not necessary
