We're looking for dependable and hardworking Refuse Site Operatives / Waste Operatives to work at a busy recycling and waste site in Hayes.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy outdoor, active work and want to be part of a friendly and supportive team helping the public recycle safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
On-Site Duties
Keep the site clean, safe, and tidy throughout the day
Perform basic maintenance and support the overall upkeep of the facility
Manage incoming waste and recyclables correctly
Support safe and efficient unloading of waste materials
Waste Handling
Sort recyclable materials from general waste
Operate balers and other machinery (full training provided)
Maintain correct safety signage across the site
Health & Safety
Follow all site safety rules and procedures
Stay alert to risks to ensure a safe environment for staff and public
Support the security and safe operation of all site equipment
What You'll Need
Physically fit - able to lift, carry, and work on your feet all day
Reliable & punctual - committed to full-time weekday work
Good communication skills - able to speak clearly and politely to members of the public
Team player - willing to work together and support your colleagues
Flexible & safety conscious - always puts safety first and adapts as needed
Monday to Friday shifts - 11:00 AM to 7:00 PMWeekly pay via agency
