Job Title: Part-Time Lecturer in Beauty TherapyLocation: HayesSalary: £19,473 to £27,156 (Actual salary for 21.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)Hours: 21.6 hours per week, worked over 4 days (specific days/times to be agreed)Contract Type: Part-TimeClosing Date: Wednesday 4 June 2025Interview Date: To be confirmedAre you an experienced beauty professional with a passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation?We're currently recruiting on behalf of a further education college based in Hayes for a Part-Time Lecturer in Beauty Therapy to join their dynamic Hair, Beauty, Hospitality, Early Years, and Performing Arts department.You will be teaching across a range of programmes, including:
- City & Guilds Levels 2, 3, and 4
- Commercial short courses (including evening classes)
- Hair Reduction and Skin Rejuvenation using advanced Laser systems
The college boasts industry-standard facilities, including a fully equipped beauty salon, providing students with hands-on, real-world experience in a professional setting.What we're looking for:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy
- A Level 5 teaching qualification recognised in the Further Education sector
- At least 3 years' industry experience
- Experience teaching, training, or assessing in the beauty industry
- Qualified to teach and assess Level 3 Advanced Epilation
- Level 4 qualifications in Hair Reduction (IPL) and Skin Rejuvenation (Laser)
