We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technician to join our supportive and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for food education to contribute to the success of our Design and Technology Faculty.
Key Responsibilities:-
Support the delivery of practical food lessons by preparing ingredients and equipment.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation areas in line with health and safety regulations.

Assist teaching staff in managing the classroom during practical sessions.

Monitor and order stock as needed.

Support students in developing practical food skills.

Have experience working in a school or food preparation environment.

Be well-organised, proactive, and able to work independently.

Demonstrate a good understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.

Be enthusiastic about supporting young people in their learning.

Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable, but training can be provided).
