- Inputting financial transactions accurately using platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, and Dext
- Preparing and submitting VAT reports for review in line with current legislation
- Drafting company accounts up to the trial balance stage
- Managing accruals, prepayments, and calculating depreciation on fixed assets
- Compiling management reports on a monthly or quarterly basis
- Providing bookkeeping support for sole proprietors and microbusinesses
- Proven background in bookkeeping and VAT processes, preferably within an accountancy firm
- Proficient in using Xero (knowledge of QuickBooks and FreeAgent is a plus)
- High level of accuracy and able to handle multiple client portfolios efficiently
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive working style
