Accurately processing financial data via platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, and Dext
Assembling and lodging VAT returns for review, ensuring compliance with existing regulations
Assisting in the production of company accounts up to trial balance stage
Handling accruals, prepayments, and calculating depreciation for fixed assets
Creating financial summaries and performance reports on a monthly or quarterly basis
Delivering bookkeeping services to sole traders and small enterprises

? What We’re Looking For:

Demonstrable expertise in bookkeeping and VAT submissions, ideally gained within a practice environment
Solid working knowledge of Xero (familiarity with FreeAgent and QuickBooks is advantageous)
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage several client accounts simultaneously
Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
