Head Chef

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £15.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week, predominantly Monday - Friday with occasional weekend work required.

About the Role:

They are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Head Chef to lead their kitchen team. You will be responsible for creating fresh, nutritious, and appealing meals for our residents using the best fresh ingredients available. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative chef with a flair for high-level hospitality and a desire to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. You will lead by example, inspiring and mentoring our kitchen team. This role offers straight day shifts with no evening work!

What you'll be doing:

• Planning and preparing delicious and nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
• Ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene and safety within the kitchen.
• Managing stock levels, ordering ingredients, and controlling food costs.
• Leading, motivating, and mentoring the kitchen team.
• Contributing to menu development and special occasion catering.
• Maintaining a clean and organise kitchen environment.
• Participating in a fully supported induction program, including healthcare-specific technical skills.
• Having the opportunity to mentor team members through our internal Chef academy.
