Project Manager | South of Haywards Heath, East Sussex | Full Time | £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Our client is a leading structural glass company specialising in wholly bespoke glass installation and fabrication for heritage, ecclesiastical, residential and commercial projects. They regularly work in high profile or historically sensitive environments and pride themselves on producing flawless and fully functional results, however challenging the brief. This is an opportunity to take on a pivotal role in a small but rapidly growing organisation.

They are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of multiple glass installation projects from initial client consultation through to completion. The ideal candidate will coordinate between customers, suppliers, and our internal team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to our exceptional quality standards.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Prior experience in project management, preferably in the glass, construction, or related industry
  • Ability to fully interpret a brief, technical specifications and drawings
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with AutoCAD or design software is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

What will your role look like?

You will need to be able to fully understand and interpret often complex and unusual briefs to:

  • Manage all phases of glass projects: estimating, scheduling, procurement, installation, and follow-up
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Prepare and track project budgets, timelines, and material orders
  • Coordinate labour and materials to meet project deadlines
  • Manage and support our CAD technician(s)
  • Co-ordinate our installation teams to ensure they are briefed and prepared for every job, and that all glass has been fully inspected prior to installation
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building regulations
  • Have a proactive approach to resolve issues quickly to minimise delays and customer dissatisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records, including contracts, work orders, and change orders

What can you expect in return?

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Opportunity to be a key member of a growing business
  • 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
  • Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement (as applicable)
