Our client, an established engineering company, is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate, set, or program CNC machinery at their busy factory near Heanor.
The salary for this position ranges from £38K to £48K, negotiable based on shift and experience, with additional overtime and benefits.
The CNC Machinist will report to the Team Leader and be responsible for machining a variety of large, one-off fabricated parts from metals such as stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in programming, setting, or operating CNC machinery and be familiar with control systems like Mazatrol, Siemens, Heidenhain, or Fanuc.
The role offers Monday to Friday working hours, totaling 39 hours per week, with various shift options available and includes benefits such as 33 days of annual leave and a pension.

Our client is an established engineering company and due to their continued success Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of CNC Machinist to operate, set or programme CNC machinery at our client's busy factory near Heanor.

Pay 38K - 48K Negotiable (depending on shift & experience) + OT + Benefits

The Role:

Reporting to the Team Leader the CNC Machinist will be responsible for the programming, setting and operating CNC machines (Mazak, Toyoda, DMG amongst others).

Machining a wide range of large one off fabricated parts / components from various metals including stainless steels, titanium, aluminium, nickel alloys and carbon steels.

Candidate:

You will be an experienced CNC Machinist with at least 3 years experience in programming, setting or operating CNC machinery.

You will be familiar with one or more of the following controls systems; Mazatrol, Siemens, Heidenhain or Fanuc

We will conisder candidates with experience in programming setting, milling machines and /or lathes.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday days 39 hours + OT (Lunch time finish Friday)
Various shifts available including days, nights and rotating shifts
