Client Summary:
A company specialising in Acoustic Engineering - manufacturing and installation of a range of acoustic noise control systems such as Industrial Enclosures, Screens, Doors, Music Rooms and Specialist Audiology Suites
Position Summary:
Manufacturing Foreman managing both workshop production and manufacture as well as onsite installation. Working under instruction of the Operations Manager and overseeing a small team. This role will be a hands-on role and will require the candidate to aid in the production of acoustic fabrications/panels when required.
Roles can include:
* Overseeing the manufacture of Acoustic Fabrications / Panels
* Hands-on production of Acoustic Panels / Fabrications (MMA Welding, cutting, bending, mechanical fitting and assembly)
* Working under instruction of Project Managers / Operation Managers
* Onsite Installation
* Monitoring quality and workmanship of installation and manufacturing teams
* Ensuring work adheres to drawing specifications
* Working with material from 3mm - 20mm
IMPORTANT:
This role will begin with 4-6 months at the sister site in Melton Mowbray to learn the role. The role will then transfer permanently to the Heanor Site - where it will remain moving forward. Whilst the role is at Melton Mowbray - a Van will be provided for travel.
