Welder and Fabricator

Location: Derbyshire – Temporary to Permanent

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday

Pay Rate: £16.89 per hour 

A well-established manufacturing business in Derby is seeking an experienced Welder and Fabricator to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a temp-to-permanent position, with the chance to contribute to minimizing downtime while maintaining high standards across various equipment. The day-to-day responsibilities of the Fabricator/ Welder will involve the following.

• MIG and occasional TIG welding (Non-structural, with some basic structural welding)
• Welding materials such as Stainless Steel, Cromweld, and Chromalloy (Guage thicknesses range from 3mm to 20mm)
• Fabrication of components and basic mechanical fitting tasks
• Occasional plating (experience beneficial)

The Fabricator/Welder must possess the following,

• Proven welding and fabricating experience in an industrial setting
• Certified Welding/Fabrication Qualification
• Plating experience (preferred but not essential)
