The RoleBased at their impressive Heanor facility you’ll be plating and welding a range of large and small assemblies with the aid of engineering drawings.

Utilising predominantly MIG, there may be the occasional need for TIG, so you’ll need to be proficient in both.

This is generally the heavier end of engineering, so you’ll need to be familiar with this, as opposed to light gauge welding.

You’ll be involved in the manufacture of these large units and may be called on to assist with the installation on a customer’s site. In this you’ll be working in a team to ensure the safe and accurate finishing of the installation.

This is a permanent role and based on Days. Overtime will be available if you want it, and this is paid at enhanced rates.

The PersonYou’ll obviously need certain things in your locker to be considered, which includes:

• Being a suitably qualified and experienced Plater Welder• Being proficient with MIG welding and some TIG experience• Having experience of the heavier end of engineering• Being able to work from engineering drawings• Being happy with working on the shop floor• Being able to work alone or as part of a team

Candidates need to be within a reasonable commute of Heanor and won’t have to relocate. Those that don’t meet these criteria will not be progressed.
