The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Service Technician to join our dealership service team. The successful candidate will diagnose, service, and repair customer vehicles both at the dealership and on-site, ensuring all work is performed to the highest standards. The Technician will collaborate with service advisors, warranty specialists, and parts personnel to maintain vehicle safety and performance while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, service and repair vehicles brought to the dealership for service and repair, also attend the customers location to carry out similar work as required.
  • Conduct quality checks on work performed.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs.
  • Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations and report any issues relating to your safety or the safety of others.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Right to Work in the UK(required)
  • Driving Licence (required)
  • IMI Level 3 EV Qualification (preferred)
  • Relevant certification to perform vehicle repairs
  • Proven experience in vehicle diagnosis, repair, and maintenance, with knowledge of electrical systems, transmissions, steering, suspension, air conditioning, brakes, and driveline systems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm (With a 1 hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Saturday: 9am - 2pm on a rota basis
