Description
- Manage and collect debts from company debtors
- Evaluate and review new credit requests and conduct credit checks
- Ensure prompt payment of invoices according to payment terms
- Negotiate payment plans with clients who have outstanding debts
- Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure relationships are maintained
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Coordinate with the Accounting & Finance department to reconcile accounts
- Comply with regulatory standards and company policies
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software
- Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- The ability to work well under pressure
