Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 4 qualified professional currently working in a support role (e.g., Paraplanner or Senior Administrator) to take the next step into Financial Planning. You’ll join an experienced and supportive team offering holistic, whole-of-market advice, with a clear development pathway into a full advisory position.You’ll start with a small client bank and be supported by senior advisers and management to build your confidence, technical understanding, and client relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clients with personalised financial guidance using the firm’s established planning framework and tools
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, delivering advice that reflects their needs, goals, and risk profile
  • Conduct regular client reviews in line with internal service standards
  • Liaise closely with compliance, paraplanning, and admin teams to ensure efficient advice delivery and adherence to process
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date client records and documentation
  • Attend all required training, team meetings, and CPD sessions
  • Gradually take on more responsibility for managing and onboarding your own clients
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent)
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in a Wealth Management support role (e.g., paraplanning, technical support, or administration)
  • Solid understanding of financial planning principles, including investments, pensions, and protection
  • High attention to detail, with strong report writing and documentation skills
  • A client-first mindset, with a passion for delivering excellent service
  • A desire to develop into a fully competent Financial Planner
  • Comfortable managing workload and prioritising tasks efficiently
