We’re working with a respected Financial Planning firm in East Sussex, who are looking to hire a skilled Paraplanner to join their team. This opportunity has arisen due to a team member moving on in October, and the firm is keen to secure a confident, technically strong individual to support their continued success.
The RoleYou’ll be working closely with one senior adviser, providing direct support across a range of high-net-worth client cases. Responsibilities include:
- Producing detailed and compliant suitability reports
- Conducting investment research and analysis
- Supporting with pensions, investments, probate and IHT planning
- Maintaining client files and documentation
- Liaising with providers and assisting with administrative tasks
- Engaging in client-facing responsibilities where required
This is a fully on-site role with no hybrid option, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative office environment and enjoys being hands-on with complex financial planning.
Requirements- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) – essential
- Chartered status – desirable (or working towards)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Paraplanning role within an IFA or Financial Adviser office
- Strong understanding of compliance and FCA regulations
- Excellent technical knowledge, especially across pensions, investments, probate, and IHT
- Confident working independently and supporting senior advisers directly
- Salary up to £50,000+ (flexible for the right candidate)
- Discretionary bonus/commission based on individual performance and company profit
- Full exam support and funding
- Opportunity to work with HNW clients and gain exposure to complex planning cases
