We’re working with a respected Financial Planning firm in East Sussex, who are looking to hire a skilled Paraplanner to join their team. This opportunity has arisen due to a team member moving on in October, and the firm is keen to secure a confident, technically strong individual to support their continued success.

The Role

You’ll be working closely with one senior adviser, providing direct support across a range of high-net-worth client cases. Responsibilities include:

  • Producing detailed and compliant suitability reports
  • Conducting investment research and analysis
  • Supporting with pensions, investments, probate and IHT planning
  • Maintaining client files and documentation
  • Liaising with providers and assisting with administrative tasks
  • Engaging in client-facing responsibilities where required

This is a fully on-site role with no hybrid option, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative office environment and enjoys being hands-on with complex financial planning.

Requirements
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) – essential
  • Chartered status – desirable (or working towards)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Paraplanning role within an IFA or Financial Adviser office
  • Strong understanding of compliance and FCA regulations
  • Excellent technical knowledge, especially across pensions, investments, probate, and IHT
  • Confident working independently and supporting senior advisers directly
