On behalf of our esteemed client, we are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a long-term highways term maintenance programme based in East Sussex. This role is ideally suited to a Quantity Surveyor who thrives on managing a diverse range of infrastructure and public realm projects, contributing to the improvement of local communities.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in the commercial management of highways maintenance works, including:
路High street resurfacing
路New paving and drainage installations
路Installation of street lighting and street furniture
路Landscaping and associated civil engineering works
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with:
路Demonstrable experience within highways or local authority maintenance frameworks
路A working knowledge of NEC3 contracts
路Strong commercial acumen and communication skills
路A proactive and collaborative working style
路The ability to manage costs, subcontractor accounts, and valuations confidently
