Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Reactive Repairs team in providing a reliable void property repair service.

  • Oversee contractors to ensure timely and high-standard repairs of void properties.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and health and safety requirements.

  • Work primarily from the Sittingbourne office with regular travel across Kent.

  • Option to work in a hybrid manner as agreed with your manager.

Person Specifications
Must Have

  • Experience as a building surveyor in maintenance, including pre and post inspections.

  • Knowledge of building regulations, health and safety laws, and construction standards.

  • Understanding of construction defects and prevention methods.

  • Familiarity with procurement law and contract management.

  • Proficiency in IT tools for creating reports and documents, especially using Excel and Word.

  • A full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with different forms of contracts.
