Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to work on Yorkshire Water sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Water and Mechanical Engineering. This is a varied job which will require excellent organisational qualities and man management skills, alongside the physical mechanical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing pipe installations, steel work, and pumps
- Ensuring all work is completed to specifications and maintaining quality assurance
- Ordering materials and managing inventory
- Coordinating with subcontractors and agency staff
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in water and mechanical engineering
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
