Senior Financial Controller
Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

About Us: Our client is a dynamic and growing international company, seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Controller to join our finance team. Our client operates across multiple countries, providing innovative solutions in the technology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Tax Compliance: Manage all aspects of VAT and corporation tax, including preparation and submission of tax returns.
- International Currency Management: Oversee foreign currency transactions and manage currency risk.
- Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth and successful audits.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience: Proven experience in financial control, preferably within an international company.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and VAT regulations.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing a finance team.
