Our well established client is currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. The Accounts Assistant will be required to provide essential support to the Finance Manager in the day-to-day operations of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Finance Manager with daily tasks, financial processes, and general administrative duties as required.
- Accurately process purchase invoices.
- Monitor and track outstanding customer payments.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Generate sales invoices using Sage 50 software.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation, journal entries, and reports required for annual audits and financial compliance.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Previous accounts/finance experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Sage 50 or similar accounting software preferred
