A new exciting Fixed Term Contract opportunity has become available on an initial 6-month basis for a Head of Service Delivery to oversee customer services and service desk operations in Hemel Hempstead for a global leading digital solutions company.

This strategic role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) systems, to ensure the highest standards of service delivery. The successful hire will manage both the Service Delivery Manager and Technical Manager, driving excellence across all service delivery platforms.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Execute a strategic vision for service delivery, aligning with company goals and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Oversee customer services and the service desk to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Manage and mentor the Service Delivery Manager and Technical Manager, serving as a point of escalation.
  • Implement and optimise ITSM systems (Halo) to enhance service delivery processes.
  • Monitor and analyse service performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service integration and enhance customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a senior service delivery role, preferably within the retail or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry.
  • Strong background in IT Service Management (ITSM) systems and implementations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
