Chef Manager – Hertfordshire - £43k – Contract Catering
We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef Manager to join a great, bespoke Contract Caterer. You will be overseeing a busy distribution centre contract operating 5 over 7.
About the role:
For this role we are looking for someone who is craft trained and not afraid to get into the kitchen and lead by example. The contract operates 5 over 7 and has a team of 10 servicing circa 250 staff. The service includes vending and hot food service, including a night service.
You will need to understand the finances, the food and the people to succeed in this position. Contract retention through customer satisfaction is of paramount importance.
Ideal Chef Manager:
- Experience in Contract Catering is a must.
- Experience in recruiting, training and mentoring staff to create a motivated and high-performing team.
- Financial understanding and P&L management.
- Proven experience developing and implementing strategies to improve customer experience
- Craft trained and happy o lead from the front.
