Mechanical Project Manager Opportunity - Leading Contractor - Data Centres

MK Search are working closely with a growing and dynamic M&E and turnkey solutions provider who are market leaders in the commercial fit out, data centre and healthcare construction sectors across the UK.

They are currently engaged on a large scale data centre project in Hemel Hempstead where they are delivering upgrade works and smaller packages on an extended basis, this is the opportunity to join a growing business that are winning an influx of new exciting data centre projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Champion safe working practices and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Maintain environmental, quality, and HSQE standards from project start through to completion
  • Deliver projects in line with agreed quality standards, programmes, and client expectations
  • Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and the wider supply chain
  • Apply and monitor quality assurance processes and maintain accurate site documentation
  • Produce regular site, safety, and condition reports and take prompt corrective action
  • Ensure all programmes, risk assessments, and method statements are current, understood, and implemented
  • Uphold high site standards throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Verify that all site personnel are suitably trained, competent, and authorised
  • Ensure contractual requirements are understood and met
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, cost efficiencies, and value-adding opportunities
  • Monitor project costs and support delivery within approved budgets
  • Complete testing records, surveys, and all required project documentation
  • Attend, lead, and record subcontractor meetings as required
