This role offers the chance to work with advanced Mill/Turn technology on challenging, small-to-medium batch work for cutting-edge customer designs.The role:You'll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision components to exacting aerospace standards. Working closely with Planning, Quality, and other departments, you'll help develop new manufacturing methods for both prototype and repeat work.Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set, and operate CNC Mill/Turn machines and other turning equipment to tight tolerances
  • Develop manufacturing methods for new product introductions
  • Work with a variety of materials including Stainless Steel, Nylon, Titanium, Inconel & Aluminium
  • Record accurate job timings in the ERP system
  • Maintain 6S standards on the shop floor
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives

What we are looking for:

  • Strong background in CNC Mill/Turn machining in aerospace or similar high-precision industries
  • Skilled in offline programming for Mill/Turn and CNC Turning machines with Fanuc controls
  • Experience working to tolerances
  • Apprentice trained or qualified by experience
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM
