Team Assistant

  • Job Type: 6 months with the possibility of extension
  • Location: Hemel
  • Hybrid: 2 days office based, 3 working from home
  • Hours: 9am – 5.30pm or 8.00am – 4.30pm
  • Salary: £17.50 per hour

My client based in Hemel are leaders in the pharmaceutical industry and are seeking a Team Assistant / Business Support Coordinator to join their team which focuses on Marketing and Medical Affairs. The role involves organising professional activities, managing contracts, handling invoicing and purchase orders, and providing logistical support. The ideal candidate will have experience in business support within a professional environment and possess strong organisational, communicational and interpersonal skills.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • To provide business support for the Global franchise Teams with a focus on Marketing and medical affairs.
  • Organise and manage all aspects of professional activities, including registration, accommodation, and travel arrangements.
  • Handle sponsorship contracts and professional interactions.
  • Manage invoicing, purchase orders, and budget tracking.
  • Support functions through material approval processes.
  • Assist in drafting and finalising service contracts.
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in business support within a professional environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience with contract management and some logistics is desirable.
  • Proficiency in invoicing, purchase orders, and budget management.
  • Highly organised, proactive and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
