An exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on Finance Manager to oversee the financial management and reporting activities within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry, based in Hemel Hempstead.

Our client is a well-established entity within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry. This large organisation is renowned for its commitment to providing top-tier service and experiences.

Description

  • Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
  • Coordinate, analyse and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors.
  • Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
  • Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms performance.
  • Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities.
  • Ensure that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Assist senior management in financial planning and results management.
  • Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
  • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Solid experience in a finance role within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
