General Labourer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. We are looking for general labourers in Hemel Hempstead.

Working times will be05:30amstart and normal finish at 2pm. Anything worked past 8 hours in a day is paid time and a half. Will be arriving at site to bubble wrap parts and units and jumping into the lorry to help load off at any site given.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labour tasks including loading and unloading materials
• Assist in the setup and dismantling of equipment and structures
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required
• Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor promptly

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a labour-intensive role is preferred but not essential
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
• A valid driver's licence is advantageous but not mandatory
