Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for an experienced Interior Designer to join a leading property service and construction company, in a contract position. Our client offers the flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement; this will consist of 1-2 days a week in their office in Hemel Hempstead.

This role will offer you the opportunity to work on exciting education and commercial fit out projects, with a motivated and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, budgets, and timelines.

-Conduct site visits and create detailed CAD drawings (floor plans and elevations).

-Source materials and furnishings, coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.

-Work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution.

-Communicate design intent, attend meetings, and maintain thorough project documentation.

What we are looking for:

-Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a relevant field.

-Previous experience in interior design, ideally with a focus on commercial or Education projects.

-Proficiency with CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.

-Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to interior design and construction.

-Strong creative design skills.
