Location: Hemel Hempstead

Salary: Up to £55k per year

Contract: Permanent - Monday - Friday

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Depot Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their Depot!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily depot operations, including fleet scheduling, vehicle dispatch, and maintenance coordination
  • Manage and lead a team of drivers, technicians, and administrative staff
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transport legislation and company policies
  • Monitor and report on KPIS including delivery performance, fuel usage, maintenance schedules, and customer satisfaction
  • Control depot budget, ensuring cost -effective operations
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Managing workshop staff timesheets
  • Workshop health and safety
  • Processing workshop staff timesheets
  • Analyse the weekly purchase order report, to cost save and highlight over spending
