Job Title: Depot Manager
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: Up to £55k per year
Contract: Permanent - Monday - Friday
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Depot Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their Depot!
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily depot operations, including fleet scheduling, vehicle dispatch, and maintenance coordination
- Manage and lead a team of drivers, technicians, and administrative staff
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transport legislation and company policies
- Monitor and report on KPIS including delivery performance, fuel usage, maintenance schedules, and customer satisfaction
- Control depot budget, ensuring cost -effective operations
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Managing workshop staff timesheets
- Workshop health and safety
- Processing workshop staff timesheets
- Analyse the weekly purchase order report, to cost save and highlight over spending
